This unique tool employs a precision cup that protects the valve spring retainer and also provides a firm platform for the tool's roller wheels to spread the force without friction or binding, as your leverage compresses the spring. A great deal of development went into the proprietary component engineering, as well as the inherent leverage principles of the VST-1. The three-position handle (with quick, Pit Pin adjustment) allows easy access for Pro Stock-type applications with clearance limitations on cylinders seven and eight. And as a result, it's quickly become the valve spring tool of choice for drag racing, Nextel Cup, Nationwide Series, World of Outlaws, and road race teams nationwide.
